 How To Prep My Natural Nails

NAIL PREP
1. Remove any nail polish and trim down natural nails creating a short, smooth curved edge.

 2. Wash hands thoroughly with soap. Remember to clean under your nails. Completely dry nails and hands.

3. Buff the nail gently using the nail buffer and push back cuticles with the wooden stick. *this step is highly important. Any white protein left behind on the nail plate will cause premature lifting.

4. Wipe / dehydrate each nail extremely well using the alcohol pad. Complete removal of any oil prolongs the wear of your press ons.

5. Select the correct size for each finger and set to the side.

6. Continue with the steps for 2 week wear with nail glue or 1 to 2 day wear with the temporary sticky tabs.

GLUE APPLICATION (Up to 14 days)

6. Apply a small dot of glue to the middle of your natural nail plate while spreading across the nail for full coverage. A small amount yet enough to cover entire nail without glue flowing to your skin or off of the nail.

7. At an 45 degree angle, align bottom edge of artificial nail with the curve of your cuticle, NOT TOUCHING SKIN, and gently place  nail down on the entire natural nail. Again, make sure it's only on your natural nail, not touching any skin. 🤗  Hold for minimum 15 seconds for best results. 

8.  Quickly remove any excess glue that may have been released on the edges. 
✨ Pro Tip: Don't wet nails for 20 to 30 min after application for maximum hold.

 ADHESIVE TAB APPLICATION (1 to 2 day Wear)
6.  Apply an adhesive tab to your nail confirming full coverage of nail. *Make sure no tape is touching your skin. 
Size the tabs to your natural nails. Remove from sheet. Press & smooth down. Remove the 2nd protective film. 

7.  Align artificial nail at a 45 degree angle on the cuticle area and press down firmly starting in the middle of the nail while smoothing entire nail and all of its sides. 
 

 ✨  PRO TIP: FOR THE BEST LASTING RESULTS OR FOR OILY NAILS CLEANSE / ALCOHOL WIPE EACH FINGER AT A TIME INSTEAD OF ALL AT ONCE.  FOR EXAMPLE, WIPE YOUR THUMB'S NATURAL NAIL, LET IT DRY, GLUE OR TAB IT, ADD PRESS ON. WIPE NEXT FINGER AND REPEAT. WIPE FOLLOWING FINGER AND REPEAT UNTIL ALL FINGERS ON BOTH HANDS ARE NAILED. 🤗
